Jeffrey has a long
career of Volunteer work, beginning as the
founder of the Georgetown University
Community Action program in 1962. Upon
graduation he spent two years in Alaska, the
first as a Vista Volunteer on Nunivak
Island, the second as an administrator with
the Alaska Rural Development Agency along
the Kuskokwim Delta. Presently, he serves as
the Chairman of Jawonio - New Jersey. He is
also a Director of Hi-Tor Animal Shelter,
Helen Hayes Hospital Foundation, and the
American Heart Association Leadership
Council. He has received a variety of
awards for his civic work : The Rockland
Development Council’s “Philanthropist of the
Year”, Jawonio’s “Friends Award”, the Mental
Health Association’s “Joseph R. Bernstein
Memorial Award”, the Association for
Visually Impaired “Distinguished Citizen
Award”and the Arthritis Foundation’s
“Rockland Leaders Award”.
Jeffrey joined the
Rotary Club of Pearl River in 1977. He
became President in 1988.He has served the
Club as Rotary Foundation Chairman since
1989 and is a Level 4 Donor himself . He was
the original District 7210 Coordinator for
Polio Plus and helped the District raise
over a million dollars to end Polio. He
participated in a National Day of
Immunization in Mexico and immunized two
out of the 10 million infants immunized that
day ( Jan 6,1987). Along with being Polio
Plus Coordinator, Jeffrey has served the
District as Task Force Coordinator and as
Assistant Governor. Currently he is District
Governor Nominee for District 7210 , Annual
Giving Chair and Region 8 Assistant
Governor.
Presently, Jeffrey is
retired from being an owner of a ready-mix
concrete supply firm. He lives in Pearl
River in the house he was born in, along
with Angela and two Siamese cats, Blue and
Patrick.

Eric joined the Rotary Club of South Shore (Staten Island, NY) in August of
1991. Since then, Eric has served the club in a variety of capacities, including
Board Member, Treasurer for 2 years and President from 2001-02. Eric is also a
current member of the South Shore Rotary Family Chorus. Eric was honored by his
club by being awarded the Paul Harris Fellow Award in 2003.
Eric has served the District as the Area 7 Assistant Governor in 2003-04, and
most recently served as District Membership Co-Chair.
Eric has been very active through the years outside of Rotary. He has served
as a board member of the Staten Island AIDS Task Force for 10 years, including
board chairman for 5 years. He was on the founding board of Staten Island Cares.
He was also on the founding board of Rainbows Hope Inc. In 2000, Eric was
honored by American Express as a "Great Citizen", a one-time only award
celebrating American Express' 150th anniversary by recognizing the top 150
American Express associates around the globe who have "done something
extraordinary to better our world."
Professionally, Eric is a financial advisor with Ameriprise Financial Inc. He
has attended Rutgers University, Wagner College, and has a B.S. in Economics
from the College of Staten Island. Eric attained his Certified Financial Planner
designation through the College for Financial Planning, and and also attended
the Wharton School through the University of Pennsylvania where he earned his
Certified Investment Management Analyst designation..
Prior to this, Eric worked with his family in the harness racing business,
earning his trainers license through the United States Trotting Association,
allowing him to train racing trotters and pacers.
Eric lives on Staten Island with his wife Kristine. He has 3 sons, Ryan,
Kevin, and Paul, and a baby daughter Anna.

‘Jim’
has been a member of the Ashland Area Rotary Club since June of 1993. He has
served the club as V.P. 1994~1995 & 1997~1998, 2 terms as President
1995~1996 & 1998~1999, Club Treasurer since July 2001 to July 2007, Club
Membership Chair from 2001 to 2007
In District 7370, he is a
graduate of Rotary Leadership Institute and has served as Assistant Governor to
the Ashland, Elysburg, Mt. Carmel and Shamokin Rotary Clubs, and as District
Membership Chair since 2003 to 2007.
Jim is the owner of Darcie-Ja,
Inc. Bulk Vending. He was Cubmaster of Ashland Cub Pack #749 for many years and
currently serves as Committee Chairman of the Ashland Scouting program. He is
past president of the Ashland Recreation Board, has served on Ashland Borough
Council and as director for both Citizens National Bank and Community Banks.
Jim & Darcie have been married
since April 1960. Both active Rotarians, they are co-chairpersons of District
7370 Membership Committee, both are Major Donors, multiple Paul Harris Fellows
and Benefactors of the Rotary Foundation.
They are the proud parents of
three children, Deborah, Donna and John, all Paul Harris Fellows and have been
blessed with three wonderful grandchildren, Sarah, Wesley and David.. |

Paul’s Rotary service began in 1976 when he
became a member of the Rotary Club of Plains, PA. He served as Club Secretary
from 1976 to 1982. In 1982, he accepted a position in Saudi Arabia where he
worked for the next 22 years. In 2004, Paul rejoined the Rotary Club of Plains
and served as Club President from 2005 to 2007.
Paul was the Assistant Governor and Foundation
Coordinator for Cluster 8, and member of the District Conference committee. He
is a multiple Paul Harris Fellow, Benefactor and member of the Bequest Society
and a graduate of the Rotary Leadership Institute.
He received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees
in Industrial and Vocational Education from Temple University and earned a
Professional Doctorate degree in the field of Education from Hamilton
University.
During his 22 years in Saudi Arabia he held
management positions with the Royal Saudi Arabian Naval Forces Schools. He
served as a consultant on employee development and job certification within
Saudi Aramco. In 1992 he was hired on directly by Saudi Aramco and was
responsible for implementing a Corporate Individual Development Tracking system
for over 48,000 Industrial and Administrative employees. Paul was promoted to
Supervisor of the System and Support Unit where he researched, procured and
implemented the Web based Saudi Aramco Enterprise Employee Development system
for professional employees. Prior to retirement he was assigned as the Change
Management Coordinator for the SAP Human Resource module implementation. Paul
was a member of the Arabian Society for Human Resource Management and served as
its 1994 Treasurer.

Janice Teetsell,

|
Janice
was invited to join Rotary by the South Orange Welcome Wagon lady. Having just
moved her law office to a space over the Dunkin’ Donuts, Janice was looking for
a way to meet people in town. Four years later in 1999 she attended PETS and her
desire to be a District Governor was born. Janice was South Orange President
again 2006-2007, the same year she was selected as District Governor Nominee.
Janice served three terms as an Assistant Governor, one term as Chair of the
District Public Relations Committee, one term as chair of the Club Service
Committee, and was a member of the Youth Exchange Committee and the PolioPlus
Committee. Janice is a member of the Editorial Board of the District newsletter
In-Flight, and author of the regular column “Teetsell Tattles”.
Professionally Janice is a solo attorney in
South Orange, focusing on family law, real estate and immigration. Prior to
working full-time as an attorney, Janice was Public Information Officer for the
City of Newark, Legislative Liaison for the Division on Women in the NJ
Department of Community Affairs, Interim Director of the NJ Division on Women,
and Communications Officer at the NJ Department of Environmental Protection.
While working for Newark she was producer and host of the weekly television
program, “Newark & Reality”, broadcast on Channel 9 from 1974 to 1985. She also
produced and hosted the radio program “Newark Report” for 18 years. In the
mid-90s she was host of the award-winning weekly cable show, “New Jersey
Issues”.
Janice is married to Bob Teetsell, and after
nine years of marriage has three grown children and three grandsons. Bob and Jan
live in East Orange with their four family members: Cleo (chow mix), Foxy (chow
chow), Mikey and Idjit (felines extraodinare). |
